Okta Sign-In

Okta SSO Sign-In is now available as an option for accessing Cybe Vision as an alternative authentication option for your organization.

Setting Up Okta SSO Sign-In

Requirements: Admin-level access to an Okta organization.

Prerequisites

  1. Cyble Vision Account

    • To access Okta Sign-in SSO, the user must already have an active account in Cyble Vision.

    • The email in Cyble Vision must match the user’s Okta profile email.

  2. Okta Administrator Privileges

    • You must have admin privileges in your Okta org to add and configure an OIN (Okta Integration Network) application.

Supported Features:

  1. Service Provider (SP)-Initiated Authentication (SSO) Flow

User Federation and Role Management directly via OKTA service is not possible, these need to be managed via Vision' settings page.

Configuration Steps

Step 1: Add Cyble Vision from Okta Integration Network

  1. Sign in to the Okta Admin Console.

  2. From the left navigation menu, go to: ApplicationsBrowse App Catalog (or DirectoryBrowse App Catalog, depending on your Okta UI).

  3. In the Search field, type “Cyble Vision”.

  4. When you see the Cyble Vision integration, click on it.

  5. Click Add Integration (or Add).

Step 2: Configure the Application in Okta

  1. General Settings

    • Application label: This is what your end users will see in the Okta dashboard. You can leave it as “Cyble Vision” or rename it as desired.

    • Optionally upload a custom logo.

  2. SAML Settings:

    • Single Sign- On URL (ACS) and Audience URI (SP Entity ID) will be present under Authentication tab under Metadata Details.

    • NameID Format: Select EmailAddress as NameID Format.

    • Application Username: Select Email as Username.

  3. Click Next to finish any additional prompts or confirmations.

  4. Finish the setup when prompted. You will be redirected back to the application’s Sign On tab or Assignments tab within Okta.

  5. To add your company's Okta configuration to Vision, follow these steps:

    1. Visit Cyble Vision

    2. Access Control Panel > Company Management

    3. Click on 'Configure SSO' on the top-right corner of the page.

  6. In the pop-up that appears, fill the following fields:

    1. Mode: Choose between automatically filling in the fields of data or adding details manually.

      1. Auto: Select Auto if you have a Metadata URL

      2. Manual: Select Manual to enter details manually.

    2. Metadata URL: Copy and paste the Identity Provider Metadata URL from Okta (only applicable in Auto mode).

    3. Domain: Enter your company's domain (e.g., yourcompany.com).

    4. Provider: Select Okta.

    5. Issuer: Copy and paste the Issuer (Entity ID) from Okta.

    6. Entry Point: Copy and paste the Identity Provider Single Sign-On URL from Okta.

    7. Certificate: Upload the X.509 Certificate from Okta.

Step 3: Assign Users or Groups

  1. In the Okta Admin Console, navigate to ApplicationsApplications.

  2. Locate the newly added Cyble Vision application in your list.

  3. Click on Assignments.

  4. Choose AssignAssign to People (or Assign to Groups) to select which users or groups can access Cyble Vision.

  5. Important: Make sure each assigned user’s email in Okta matches the user’s email in Cyble Vision.

After the Okta SSO Sign-In has been set up for your organization, your users can only access Cyble Vision through this method and previously existing passwords will not remain functional.

  • Enter the domain associated with your company on Cyble Vision
